About Kay Heald HR

Personal message from Kay:

“I work exclusively with small and family businesses in and around Shropshire, sorting out all their employment issues, freeing up precious time for them to drive their business forward – my ultimate aim is to make employing and managing people a more enjoyable experience!”

Kay is an experienced HR consultant, whose client base includes family businesses, partnerships, consultancies, manufacturers and community-based organisations.  She believes strongly that good people management makes good business sense, but she also knows first hand that managing people ‘well’ takes time and effort.

She doesn’t just have the qualifications, she has the broad brush experience that makes it possible to see things from different viewpoints, guiding employers and their people through the employment maze – together.

Whilst working for a London consultancy, Kay developed her interest in specifically helping small and family businesses with their personnel needs: interpreting relevant aspects of employment law; providing practical and cost effective solutions to their problems; building long term working relationships with managers and staff and giving busy directors timely guidance, support and training.

Kay has been running her own successful consultancy in Shropshire for over six years, specialising in working with small and micro organisations, to help meet all their employment needs and take away the worry of employing people.  Her work was externally endorsed in 2011 by the Midlands Family Business Awards, when she reached the finals in their Leading Adviser category.
